It is imperative that you complete all information requested and that you obtain
all fee receipts, money orders, and other necessary documents for submission to
the Graduate School before you upload your manuscript.
Also, it is important to be aware of the
submission deadline dates.
Please note that all theses and dissertations submitted to the Graduate School for
review the editing staff must be formatted properly in accordance with the university's
In accordance with the University
policy, turning in a manuscript by the deadline date does not guarantee that a student
will be awarded the degree in the corresponding term; it only makes a student eligible
for that graduation date. If your manuscript
requires more than two reviews for corrections in a given semester and/or you fail
to make your corrections in the time allotted and/or by the conferral date, your
graduation date will be advanced to a different semester.
In addition, if your paperwork is incomplete and/or lacking original and
authorized signatures, your graduation date will be advanced.
Irrespective of when a student turns in the first submission, as stated in
the University catalogue, a student will be awarded the graduation date for the
term in which all degree requirements, including the completion of corrections to
and final approval of the manuscript and the submission of supporting documents,
have been met. Degrees will
not be awarded retroactively.
It is the student’s responsibility to make sure that the
manuscript and paperwork are in order.
